Summer School

SSFUSD Summer School Policy

When a student signs up for summer school with the SSFUSD they are agreeing to participate in the summer school class(es) that they listed on their application.  If a student gets in to summer school, but does not show up then they are given a “W/D” on their transcript for the summer school term.  This will not count towards their overall GPA, but notes that they withdrew from summer school.  If a student gets in to summer school, and drops out after the third day, they will receive a “W/F” on their transcript, this will be calculated into their GPA.  For this reason it is recommended that students/parents contact the Summer School Principal to notify her/him that the student is withdrawing from summer school.
