Your Counselor is assigned to you by the first letter of your last name. Please see the list below for the current counselor breakdown. Also, please note that counselor assignments may fluctuate yearly based on student enrollment.

How can your Counselor help you?
The Counselors at El Camino can assist you in the following areas:
- College planning
- Tutoring resources or academic help
- Communication strategies with students and/or staff
- Study skills
- Exploring extracurricular activities available on campus
- Discussing confidential concerns
How can I contact my Counselor?
You can reach your Counselor in the following ways:
- Fill out a "Request to See Your Counselor" form in the Counseling Office
- Email your Counselor through School Loop
- Stop by before school, at lunch or after school
- For urgent matters, get a pass from your teacher to come to the Counseling Office
What is confidentiality?
Confidentiality ensures that what you discuss with your Counselor is private between you and your Counselor. We will not discuss these matters with your parents, teachers, school administrators, other students, etc.
What is said in this office, remains in this office UNLESS:
- You or someone you know if being physically or sexually abused (even if it happened a long time ago)
- You are going to hurt yourself
- You are going to hurt someone else
