You can be involved in the WASC process in a few ways:
1.Become a member of a Focus Group.
Focus Groups are made up of teachers, Parents, parents, administrators and other staff and community members. We meet during Early Release Time on the first Wednesday of the month in the Library from 1:30-3. There are five Focus Group Areas: School Organization, Curriculum, Parent Support, Resource Management and Culture and Climate.
2. Become a member of the Parent Home Group.
The Parent Home Group will meet in the Library on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30-7:30 pm.
3. Watch for our emails.
Look for updates, information and upcoming Parent Surveys.

El Camino High School staff, parents and students conducted a self study for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation review in April, 2009. The visiting committee provided a report of its findings. In July, 2009, the WASC Commission conferred on El Camino High School a six-year term with a mid-term review.
