Jeff Cosico

As a product of the South San Francisco Unified School District (Junipero Serra Elementary - '88, Alta Loma Middle School - '90, El Camino High School - '94), I am currently beginning my 7th year teaching in the district.  I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University (class of '99), with a concentration in Physical Education teaching.  A year and a half later, I went on to earn my teaching credential from SFSU as well.  Prior to working in the district, I worked in the Jefferson Union High School District as a Physical Education Driver's Ed./Health instructor at Terra Nova High School (2000-2002).

My current assignment at the school include:  2 Core PE 9th Grade classes, 2 Core PE 10th Grade classes, one PE 11/12 Advance PE Athletics course and I am currently serving my 2nd year as the department's chairperson.  In addition to teaching, I am the head coach of our school's Frosh/Soph football team.
